Anne Burnett has two roles at the University of Newcastle’s Language Centre; an ELICOS teacher and the Student Engagement Coordinator. Anne has been the Student Engagement Coordinator at the Centre since April 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Lethbridge in Canada and is currently working on a Masters of Public Health. Anne taught English in South Korea for three and a half years before moving to Newcastle. In 2016, Anne won the Division Award for International Engagement and then went on to win the Vice-Chancellor’s Award. She continually demonstrates innovation to keep the Student Engagement Program fresh and exciting so students can have meaningful experiences whilst studying in Newcastle.
